Public Auto Auctions in Michigan
 

There are a large number of public auto auctions in Michigan.  From auctions held weekly, or semi-weekly (twice a week) to auctions held periodically. 

I have been involved as an auctioneer in one of those public auto auctions in Michigan which is held periodically. 

This is the State excess vehicle, public auto auction in Michigan held every two or three months in Lansing, the state capital.  

There are some exceptionally well maintained cars and trucks sold at this public auto auction.

If you are looking for a nice used car at your own price, you won't be disappointed.  As with most auctions, there is an inspection period prior to the auction.

You can start the vehicles.  Check the engine and transmission by driving forward and backward.  Listen to the engine run.  If you are not mechanically inclined, I would recommend taking someone with you who is knowledgeable, as all vehicles are sold as/is.  It's always nice to have the opinion of someone that you trust before bidding.
